About the event

Caregivers, Counselors and Behaviorial Health Agencies will participate in a presentation and discussion about how to support people impacted by a suicide loss in every day life.

While it is not always necessary to offer specific suicide postvention programs/services at every agency, we can all be more sensitive to those bereaved by suicide.

During this workshop we will review the following and have time for Q&A:

•Definitions and Impact of Suicide

•Engaging Loss Survivors

•Suicide Bereavement resources in Southeast Ohio

This event is made possible by the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.

Presented by Denise Meine-Graham, C.T., TRCC.

Denise is a suicide loss survivor having lost her son, Drey, to suicide in 2012. She is the Founder of LOSS Community Services in Columbus, Ohio, the statewide Postvention Coordinator with the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, and is leading the National Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team efforts across the nation with her husband, Robbie Graham.
