August Topic: Keeping Volunteers Engaged
Presenters will share:
- What ongoing training they offer existing volunteers and results they have seen
- What are the most successful ways they recognize and show appreciation of their volunteers
- How do they keep their volunteers engaged with their postvention mission outside of just attending scenes
ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Emily Reidford is the Vice President of Community Outreach & Education with Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, Indiana. Her focus is on mental health information, awareness, and community trainings established and facilitated by MHA.
Sandra McNally is an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University and Rio Salado College. She is also the Prevention Manager at the Empact - Suicide Prevention Center / La Frontera in Tempe, Arizona.
