About the event
Dr Alan Wolfelt is a world-renowned grief educator, speaker, and author. His model of companioning the bereaved rather than treating the bereaved is an absolute breath of fresh air for counselors, lay caregivers, and especially for the bereaved themselves! Our time together will include sharing what we’re learning, ideas for how we’d interact with suicide loss survivors in various situations, examples of real situations, and a time to connect with fellow postvention volunteers and counselors across the state.
Who is the book study for?
- This book study is appropriate for postvention volunteers (including suicide loss survivors) and counselors.
When will the book study take place?
- Zoom meetings: Friday June 2 11:30-1:00, Friday June 16 11:30-1:00, Friday June 30 11:30-1:00, Friday July 14 11:30-1:00
